POV: I used to make myself small.
As a child, I was painfully shy.
As an adult, I became a people-pleaser.
I struggled to spend money on myself.
I shrank my needs.
And eventually, my world shrank too.
Then the catalyst came.
I broke my ankle — and it wouldn’t mend. I couldn’t work. I had no money coming in. Debts were piling up. I was divorcing. There was a mortgage to pay, a teenager to feed, and 20 rescue dogs and 3 horses depending on me.
I genuinely could not see a way out.
I begged God for help.
And as difficult as it was… that was the beginning.
I had to go down to rock bottom before I could be pushed into a complete transformation within myself.
It wasn’t just one thing that had broken – it was everything.
That period forced me to confront my thinking — my patterns, my beliefs, my sense of worth, my responsibility for how I was feeling and responding. I learned about manifesting and the Law of Attraction.
As my life miraculously turned around in response to my inner work, I continued to add layers: I practised self-hypnosis. I studied mindset. I became a coach.
I did the work – consistently.
Fast forward to today.
I live in Andalusia with my husband in a home I love. I ride my motorbike through sunlit roads. I go to the gym daily. I feel happier in my 50s than I have in any other decade of my life.
And now I’ve added Mindshifting to my toolbox, and it’s as though the final piece of the puzzle finally fits. With Mindshifting, I’m able to clear all emotional attachment to my negative beliefs and intentionally choose to get out of my comfort zone.
Or, I can clear a past trauma in just a session.
Or, I can use it to clear the blocks which I’m creating to stop me from getting my next dream step.
It’s the missing piece in my toolbox. And it’s the most powerful one yet.
So what is Mindshifting?
Let me explain.
What is MindShifting?
Mindshifting is unlike any other modality I have worked with.
It works directly with the subconscious mind to identify and clear the internal blockages that hold us back from creating the lives we truly want to be living.
It was developed by Stevie Kent after he spent years on a path of personal and spiritual development. The concept emerged when he recognised something powerful: when you work with the subconscious in a very specific way, change happens faster — and at a deeper level — than through mindset coaching, hypnotherapy, or traditional talk therapy alone.
Mindshifting is not about analysing your past.
It is a structured collection of tools and precise questions that allow your subconscious mind to reveal the belief that is running the pattern — and then release it.
No digging.
No reliving.
No long explanations.
The belief surfaces.
The belief shifts.
And when the belief shifts, the pattern changes.
So, How Does Mindshifting Work?
IIn a Mindshifting session, you’ll be invited to close your eyes and relax. As with all coaching sessions, we work in a safe, confidential space.
What surprises many people is this:
We don’t spend time going into long explanations about the problem.
Instead, you define what you want to work on in one simple sentence. As long as that sentence represents what you want for yourself, that is enough. I don’t need the backstory. I don’t need the details. (Unless we are intentionally blending the session with coaching.)
From there, I guide you through a specific sequence of questions. Your only task is to respond with the very first thing that comes to mind.
No filtering.
No analysing.
No trying to get it ‘right.’
As you answer, something interesting begins to happen.
Insights surface — often ones you weren’t consciously aware of.
For example, imagine you’re mindshifting on why you procrastinated buying a wedding gift. During the session, it becomes clear that, somewhere in your subconscious, weddings are linked to a painful memory from your past. You weren’t aware of that connection before.
And then — something shifts.
Not because you relived the memory.
Not because you analysed it.
But because the belief underneath it surfaced.
Once the belief is seen, it can be released. The emotional charge loosens. The pattern begins to dissolve.
And it’s important to say — Mindshifting isn’t only about trauma.
It can be used to:
- Gain clarity
- Shift identity
- Change deeply held beliefs
- Remove blockages interfering with goals
- Improve relationships
- Strengthen confidence
- Create emotional freedom
It’s an experience that’s difficult to fully explain until you’ve felt it.
And like any form of internal maintenance, the real progress comes when it’s applied regularly — clearing out the accumulated beliefs and emotional residue that quietly weigh us down.
What Changes After a Mindshifting Session?
The most immediate shift people notice is subtle — but undeniable.
You feel lighter.
Not artificially positive. Not euphoric.
Just lighter.
As though something that had been sitting quietly on your shoulders has finally been set down.
Sometimes the shift shows up differently.
You think about the situation that once triggered you — and the emotional charge simply isn’t there anymore.
You can see it.
But you’re no longer inside it.
That’s the difference.
The event may still exist in your memory, but it no longer runs you.
In practical terms, this can look like:
- Making decisions calmly, without emotional interference
- Having a difficult conversation without defensiveness or reactivity
- Moving forward on a goal that previously felt blocked
- Sleeping more peacefully because the mental noise has quietened
- Feeling less stress because the internal tension has dissolved
What changes isn’t the situation.
What changes is your relationship to it.
And that shift changes everything.
When practised regularly, Mindshifting becomes a form of clearing out outdated beliefs, emotional residue, and subconscious patterns before they harden into limitations.
Instead of reacting from old programming, you begin responding from clarity.
Instead of carrying yesterday into today, you move with more freedom.
Over time, this compounds.
You approach relationships differently.
You approach decisions differently.
You approach yourself differently.
And that is where lasting change begins.
Is Mindshifting Right For You?
If you’ve never done personal development work before but you feel ready to start…
If you’ve done personal development work before but still find yourself repeating certain patterns…
If you understand your triggers but haven’t fully shifted them…
If you’re ready for change that feels precise rather than prolonged…
Mindshifting may be the next step.
You don’t need to relive your past.
You don’t need to explain every detail of your story.
You simply need a willingness to explore what your subconscious is ready to release.
The work is gentle.
The shifts are powerful.
And the results are often quieter — and deeper — than expected.
If this resonates with you, I invite you to experience it for yourself.
Because understanding a shift is one thing.
Living it is another.
